Eti Sinha is awarded the Genentech US Biologics Technical Development Outstanding Student Award.
Dr. Christman and collaborator Dr. Alperin receive a 2016 Galvanizing Engineering in Medicine (GEM) award
Dr. Christman is promoted to full Professor in the Department of Bioengineering.
Julian Garcia receives a Dept. of Bioengineering Outstanding Research Award.
Melissa Hernandez and Marty Spang are selected as a predoctoral trainee in the NHLBI Training Grant on Integrative Bioengineering of Heart, Vessels and Blood.

2 PhD student positions will be available in Fall 2017. Prospective graduate students should apply directly to the department.
New undergraduates will be selected each year after the annual BMES lab fair, so interested students should attend this event and stop by the Christman Lab booth.
